Elly Veritas is a seventeen-year-old writer and creative in many disciplines, including poetry, traditional & digital art, and photography. She lives in Qatar where the temperature is terrifyingly high, and as a result is totally incapable of handling any weather below 6 degrees Celsius. The Qatari cultural “karak” has inspired one of the recurring motifs in her debut WIP, “The Still-Smoking City”.

She aspires to go forth on an eventful career in tutoring, teaching, copy-editing or proofreading, authorship, graphic design or anything to do with the fine arts, and perhaps aviation later on.

Elly has been previously published in Evanescent Magazine, and primarily writes fantasy and spy fiction, but also enjoys reading crime and thriller fiction. Her special fixations are psychopathy and other mental disorders, child exploitation, espionage, and vengeful unicorns. (She continues to write the latter into her stories to annoy her best friend, who suffers from cringy flashbacsk to My Little Pony.)
