My love lies,
It grieves what it never was,
What it always wanted to be,
And what it never will be

The longing will last forever now,
The effects of never being acknowledged,
the weight of a sunken ship

My love drowns in it, the yearning,
The inconceivable desire to be seen and felt, and known,
But with no one to give it to, it endures silently

If someone would see,
If someone would notice for once,
That would be enough,

No one does, and so,
My love dies.
