Katy Cossham lives in Sheffield, UK, moving there to study English Literature thirty-five years ago. She met her husband at that time and they had three children, now young adults. Having worked as a teacher and NHS counsellor Katy is now focusing on her lifelong passions of writing and art. She enjoys creative expression in many forms and is drawn to observational work whether art, often life drawing, or in writing, often poetry and non-fiction. Katy is drawn to themes of love, loss and change.
She recently had a memoir poem accepted for an anthology, Ey Up, of Written Off Publishing. Another memoir piece is included in the app, GeoStories, on her experience of offering therapy during lockdown.
As a child, Katy had the honour of having a story she wrote compiled into a book for Prince William and met his mother as part of the prize.
