Mohua Chinappa is an award-winning author, storyteller, podcast host, and speaker whose work spans literature, media, and advocacy based in India and the UK. She is the creator and host of The Mohua Show and The Literature Lounge, two podcasts that celebrate inspiring voices from across India, with over 3.7 million downloads and 250+ episodes.

Her latest book, Thorns in My Quilt (Rupa Publications), is a moving collection of letters to her late father, exploring themes of grief and resilience. Mohua is also the author of If Only It Were Spring Everyday and Dragonflies of My Dreams (winner of the Emily Dickinson Award), and Nautanki Saala and Other Stories, which won the PVLF Best Debut Award and was launched by Shatrughan Sinha.

In 2024, she partnered with UK-based publisher Prabhu Siddhartha Guptara and launched a London office to promote cross-cultural storytelling. She is also a member of Bridge India, a UK-based think tank.

A TEDx and Josh Talks speaker, Mohua regularly contributes to platforms like News18, Outlook, and SheThePeople. Her storytelling spans writing, podcasts, and filmmaking—championing powerful, untold narratives that connect deeply with audiences around the world.
