Regina ‘Rina’ Keough is a writer, poet, and filmmaker currently based in Athens, Greece. Originally from Saint Petersburg, she works across disciplines, blending literature, cinema, and performance to explore themes of displacement, memory, psychological intimacy, and the silent tensions of everyday life.
Her work has appeared in publications such as Everscribe Magazine, Schlock Magazine, and others, and spans across poetry, short fiction, essays, and screenwriting. She often gravitates toward fractured characters, unresolved endings, and the bittersweet — drawing inspiration from 20th-century literature, absurdist theatre, and the soft chaos of modern existence.
Regina writes in both English and Russian, believing language itself to be a kind of landscape — shifting, layered, and deeply personal.
In addition to writing, she has also directed for stage and screen, and is particularly interested in the emotional rhythms of dialogue and silence. She is currently working on several new creative projects, while navigating the strange beauty of living between languages, countries, and selves.
