Richard Stephenson was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.
He is a Design Engineer and has achieved the status of Charted Engineer.
Using the modest Nom de Plume, “The Legend that is Richard Stephenson”, he runs a monthly poetry competition, the Dreading Slam, in Reading where he now lives and is a regular member of the open mic community.
Has been broadcast on local radio published local papers and occasionally poetry magazines.
