Robin T Dake – Jangled in January

Should I pay attention
To the contorted carillon clanging
In my soul?
Should I note
The feeling of a bulbous
Boulder balancing on a balloon
Just inches above my head?
Should I listen to the
sound of a billion bees
Buzzing in my brain and breath.
Or perhaps, I should just
Stop
And
Feel the purr and chirr
Of the cat on my chest
Tapping her tail in time
to the timeless
Togetherness
Telling me
It will be alright.
