Valérie Piché is a Canadian writer and artist who has lived in Seoul, South Korea for the past ten years.

Her work blends poetry, prose, and visual art to explore themes of love, longing, identity, abuse, and healing. With a deep reverence for nature and emotional honesty, Valérie creates intimate, introspective pieces that invite readers to slow down and feel. She is especially interested in the parts of ourselves we hide, the courage it takes to be seen, and the beauty that blooms when we choose vulnerability over fear. Valérie’s artistic voice is raw, and often tinged with hope—even through the darkest hours.

She is currently working on two books: one centred on emotional healing and personal reclamation, and the other a more intimate collection inspired by unspoken love. When she is not reading or writing, Valérie enjoys photographing birds, training in MMA, and curling up with her cats in her cozy little apartment.
