Creative Match

Over the coming months, we’ll be pairing poets and writers to collaborate on unique material in the form of poetry or short stories/micro-fiction across three themed genres: romance, horror, and fantasy.

By signing up, you will be matched with another creative whose style and themes are similar to yours.

Your work will be featured, with readers voting for their preferred piece. This isn’t about winning; it’s about appreciating each team’s innovative efforts.

An Introduction to Creative Match

This new initiative by ManicWorld in collaboration with Fluorescent Magazine is to connect poets and writers to other creatives to produce poems and short stories over a 3 month period. Applicants who sign up will be paired up with other creatives who are similar in preferred genre and writing style.

Throughout the course, successful applicants will be in continuous communication with their creative match to create a poem or short story which will be appropriately credited to the writers.

By signing up, you’ll be matched with one other creative whose style and themes align with yours. Once paired, you’ll receive a timeline outlining deadlines for first drafts, final edits, and any accompanying visuals. The entire collaborative process will take around 2–3 months, giving you time to build something meaningful together.

So, apply and let’s get started.
