Become a Manic Author
At ManicWorld Magazine, we are always on the lookout for prospective maniacs to join our community and express themselves with our platform. If you think you are manic enough to join us, here’s how to do it.
Please note: all submissions undergo editorial review, and selection is based on literary quality and artistic merit. Accepted submissions are left to the discretion of the editor.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome submissions in the following categories:
–Short stories: Insightful and inspiring stories about individuals who would love to turn their passions into livelihoods.
–Poetry: Poems that capture the whole spectrum of human emotions and experience. (PG rated!)
Submission Guidelines
To ensure a smooth submission process, please follow these guidelines:
Submission Schedule.
You can submit your poem or poetry at any time in the year but new submissions will be reviewed within a 30-day window and any submissions that have completed the review process will be published latest a week after the final review as much as possible. If you do not provide all of the required information, this may result in the rejection of your submission or a delay in the review process.
Creatives are expected and encouraged to promote their published work across their own social media channels and on whichever platform that they choose.
Submitting a poem or short story?
When submitting a poem or short story, please ensure that you send this as a word document and not a pdf file. If you are unable to attach files during your submission, you can copy your work into the body of your email (This applies to poetry only).
Please note that the submission form for poetry and short stories is the same.
When submitting your work, you can share this information in the form below:
– Name
-Category (prose, poetry)
– Theme (death, horror, identity, etc)
– An image that represents the theme of the poem or short story that you are submitting. This image must be non-copyrighted and must not be AI generated/assisted. You must provide an image for every poem or short story that you submit.
– An image for your author profile. This can be a photo of your self or anything else that you would like.
– Links to your website and social media when applicable. (Include these in the last line of your bio).
Please note again that failure to provide any of these requirements will result in delay in publishing or rejection of your project.
As a standard, we only publish PG rated content and any submission created with the use of AI assistance will be rejected.
